John Mwangi is a Researcher and Data Analyst with expertise in applied research, data analysis, policy evaluation, and evidence-based decision-making. At OgilaTech Research and Innovation Centre, he contributes to research initiatives that advance governance, public policy, sustainable development, and socio-economic transformation across Africa. His work focuses on designing and implementing research studies, conducting qualitative and quantitative data analysis, evaluating development programmes, and producing policy-relevant evidence that supports governments, development partners, civil society organizations, and the private sector. John is passionate about transforming complex data into meaningful insights that inform strategic planning, policy formulation, and institutional decision-making.

John has extensive experience in research methodology, survey design, statistical analysis, monitoring and evaluation, report writing, and policy analysis. He has participated in multidisciplinary research projects addressing governance, economic development, social inclusion, public service delivery, and sustainable development. His analytical approach enables organizations to generate reliable evidence for programme improvement and policy reforms. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Data Science and Analytics and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Data Science and Research Methods, where his research focuses on the application of data analytics to support evidence-based policymaking and sustainable development in Africa. John has undertaken professional training in Research Methodology, Statistical Data Analysis, Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E), Impact Assessment, Qualitative and Quantitative Research Methods, and Policy Analysis. He continues to strengthen his expertise in data-driven research, programme evaluation, and development analytics. His academic excellence has earned him several recognitions for outstanding performance and research excellence.
